A magpie is attracted to shiny things because they hope those things will nourish them when in reality they are of no use in the wild. We see the same patterns in humans & social media; we are attracted to it because it seems real but it is no more nourishing than a piece of scrap metal to a bird. Produced by Miwi La Lupa of Team Love & Tigershrimp Records, the lush arrangement & layered production provide a deep & calming pool for the lyrics to swim through.
